Advantages of using lubricated condoms

Composition of lubricated condoms
Most lubricated condoms are constructed from latex but there are also condoms that are made from polyurethane materials. As mentioned above, only water-based lubricants are permitted for latex condoms.
The lubricated condoms made of polyurethane are thinner than those that are made from latex. Thus, if you want to maximize your sexual pleasure, polyurethane lubricated condoms should be your choice. The additional advantage is that oil-based lubricants can be used with them, thereby offering even better lubrication because such lubricants last longer because they do not dry up easily like water-based lubricants. However, polyurethane condoms are more expensive than latex condoms.
Practicing safety with lubricated condoms
You have to make sure that your lubricated condoms do not contain nonoxynol-9 because this could cause the material to break. This spermicide has also been observed to be carcinogenic. Do not also forget to check the condom from time to time to ensure that it has not broken. If you ensure safety when using these condoms there is a strong chance that pregnancy can be prevented. The transmission of STD can also be avoided.
