Most small condoms are made of latex. Latex is a very durable material for small condoms. Small condoms made of latex are known to stretch for up to 800 times their regular size before reaching a breaking point. This has been proven time and again through the series of tests each batch of small condoms go through before hitting the market. These small condoms are subject to electrical current tests, as well as water leakage and air burst tests.

The downside with small condoms made of latex is that these couldn't be safely used with oil-based lubricants. When oil rubs against latex, it reduces its elasticity. Small condoms can also be made of lambskin. The major advantage with these types of small condoms is that they provide the wearer with more sensation. The major downside is that these small condoms have pores. While these pores are not big enough to allow sperm to pass through, these pores can transmit bacteria and viruses. Small condoms made of lambskin are also more expensive than the other types of condoms.
